Facilities and Maintenance Operations


TRAX International Corporation facility maintenance teams provide a wide-range of services for our Department of Defense (DoD) and United States (U.S.) Postal Service clients. We provide cost-effective solutions, constant attention to the client’s needs, and multiskilled individuals trained through structured cross-training programs.

 

 

Building Trades

TRAX carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding and painting building trades’ technicians maintain the full spectrum of physical facilities at the U.S. Postal Services, National Center for Employee Development. Support for all utilities, electrical systems, compressed air systems, access control systems and plumbing is provided to meet the dynamic renovations to training labs and classrooms.

 

Installation and Maintenance of Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning  and Closed-Circuit Television  Systems

TRAX operational technicians maintain boiler, chiller, compressed air and ancillary equipment while working closely with inspectors to ensure safe and efficient operation of the equipment. Key support functions include the following:

 

Service, repair and modifications to the facility heating and cooling direct digital control system.

Installation, service and repair of rooftop package heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Modifications to existing air-conditioning (AC) equipment to accommodate varying training needs and requirements.

Connecting plumbing and compressed air to postal equipment.

Service, repair and installation of kitchen equipment.

Service, repair and installation of security closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and monitors.

Custom welding and equipment modifications to aid in student training.

Scheduled preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, air compressors, pumps, rooftop units, kitchen equipment, air handling units and exhaust/ventilation fans.

After hours on-call emergency services.

 

Maintenance of Roads and Grounds

TRAX landscaping specialists provide experience in design, installation and maintenance of turf, ornamental flower beds and trees. At the U.S. Postal Service’s National Center for Employee Development, we design, repair and operate approximately 25 acres of turf irrigation systems; maintain a 3-acre pond and its aquatic life and proper water levels; and operate a licensed pest control program with high regard to ecology. As part of our commitment to our customers and quality of life, we understand the importance of snow and ice removal from parking areas, sidewalks and building entrances to ensure safe mobility during inclement weather.

 

Security Services

TRAX integrates public relations, observation and reporting skills with aggressive security procedures. Our security staff is trained in law enforcement techniques, employment of new technologies and, where necessary, the use of armed force to protect the property and safety of our customers, facilities and employees. Our security forces are prepared to effectively and safely counter threats against persons or property and control emergency situations or any situation that has the potential to result in injury or loss to our customers, employees or visitors. Each member of our security staff is trained in CPR and first aid and is a first responder to all accidents.
