What is LOGWORLD?

Logistics Worldwide, or LOGWORLD, is a Federal Supply or Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) that lists qualified companies with which the General Services Administration has negotiated to provide similar services. In the case of LOGWORLD, the services are supply and value chain management, acquisition logistics support, distribution and transportation services, logistics training services, deployment logistics, and the introduction of new services. Logistics Worldwide (LOGWORLD) services are awarded under Special Item Numbers or SINs, which characterize the types of logistics services the companies listed on the MAS are pre-qualified to provide. TRAX has been awarded a LOGWORLD contract under the following:

• SIN 874-501 Supply and Value Chain Management Services 
• SIN 874-503 Distribution and Transportation Logistics Services
• SIN 874-505 Logistics Training Services
• SIN 874-599 Introduction of New Services

What are the benefits of LOGWORLD?

When soliciting orders above the $2500 threshold, there is no need to seek further competition beyond requesting quotes from a minimum of three (3) schedule contractors. There is no need to synopsize your requirements or to make a determination of fair and reasonable pricing. You may make a 'Best Value' judgment from quotes received and may, at the discretion of your agency, set-aside the acquisition for small business concerns.

In the case of an unrestricted requirement, we have submitted a Small Business Subcontracting Plan with our proposal and this has been approved by the Small Business Administration. We will honor this plan in selecting small business partners for your opportunity.

The usual lengthy and costly solicitation process of synopsizing the requirement, preparing a Request for Proposal, holding a bid conference, evaluating proposals, making an award (and possibly dealing with protests) can be avoided by using LOGWORLD. As a Contractor on the LOGWORLD schedule, TRAX is pre-qualified. Your selection of our company from the Schedule meets all of the requirements of the Competition in Contracting Act.
