On December 29, 2008, nine TRAX International employees from the Goddard Space Flight Center located at Greenbelt, Maryland participated in a Baltimore area media tradition called, Manic Monday.

Beginning in the early 1990’s, a Baltimore TV station morning show aired on WJZ started a weekly segment, airing on Mondays, called Manic Monday. Individuals or groups brave enough to face frigid morning temperatures are selected to sing the first couple lines of the song, “Manic Monday”… to the roaring applause of spectators congregated in the historic Fells Point district of Baltimore.

In keeping with the holiday spirit, TRAX employees from Goddard donned bright red TRAX sweatshirts, and after a brief introduction by our own Sylvia Sykes, raised their voices and put TRAX’s name out there in the media for all WJZ morning viewers to see.
