Simulation Training Systems

Process simulation provides a powerful tool for training at all levels within a plant and for developing improved procedures and control systems. TRAX International Corporation has a long history of developing the most effective simulators customized to your needs.
Operator and Plant Training Simulators
TRAX offers modern full scope dynamic training simulators for a variety of complex processes such as conventional power plants, advanced power cycles, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, waste-water systems, paper mills, large ships, and desalination processes. Over 125 full-featured training simulators have been delivered during our 20+ years in the simulator business. Based on our own advanced technology ProTRAX simulation software, a TRAX simulator is easy to operate, maintain, expand, upgrade and interface to our customer’s software or control systems. Our simulators are used for training operators, supervisors, engineers, technicians and management because they provide a realistic perspective of the plant behavior under both normal and abnormal operating conditions. Training simulators can be operated under conditions that we hope the plant operators will never experience, but need to be prepared for. Consequently, the investment in a comprehensive high fidelity simulator is returned in both daily operation and when unusual emergencies arise.
Training Programs
Having a powerful training simulator is of little value unless it is used effectively to achieve the desired improved operator performance. Toward this end, TRAX offers a variety of standard and custom training services for power plant instructors, operators, engineers and technicians. These services include not only training of how to effectively use the simulator, but also how to operate the plant using the accepted operating procedures. TRAX training programs are developed and delivered by professional trainers who are former plant operators with extensive technical experience. Beyond the personalized training, the advanced TRAX training simulator is capable of “instructorless” training for those operations where instructor availability is very limited or even nonexistent.
